Aguas Calientes

Machupicchu or Machupicchu Pueblo, also known as Aguas Calientes, is a location in Peru situated in the Cusco Region, Urubamba Province. It is the seat of the Machupicchu District. Machupicchu lies at the Vilcanota River.

We entered Machu Picchu at 5:30am as the sun was rising over the mountains. This photo was captured as a bird flew off into the distance once we entered the park. The clouds rose from the base of Machu Picchu and cleared to make a sunny day.
