About this picture

Taken during a hike in one of the "levadas" (water ways) of Madeira island. Specifically in the "Levada das 25 Fontes" or water way of the 25 fountains. This particular bird let me get real close to him (about 1.5m) so I could grab this shot as he is looking straight at me.
