Luray is the county seat of Page County, Virginia, United States, in the Shenandoah Valley in the northern part of the commonwealth. The population was 4,895 at the 2010 census. The town was started by Willian Staige Marye in 1812, a descendant of a family native to Luray, France. The mayor of the town is Barry Presgraves.

Recently just relocated to Washington DC for work which has been a bit depressing since I had previously been living and traveling abroad for almost 3 years. It felt like the end to a permanent vacation. I decided to have a road trip for a few days to explore my backyard. Had an amazing time Hiking and taking many photos in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. Beautiful place.
