Tai Mo Shan is the highest peak in Hong Kong, with an elevation of 957 metres. It is also the tallest coastal peak in Southern China and second tallest coastal peak in China after Mount Lao, and located at approximately the geographical centre of the New Territories.

Yesterday I was about to go up to the mountains to shoot the meteor shower reported in the news, but the spot I chose was too close to the sea and the weather was not good for astrophotography at all so I got some foggy shots instead. It seems like God likes to play jokes and surprises us sometimes, as you go for one thing and end up with another. And when the ‘another’ isn’t so bad, you start to expect the next one.
