Kirkstone Pass
Kirkstone Pass is a mountain pass in the English Lake District, in the county of Cumbria. It is at an altitude of 1,489 feet. It is the District's highest pass traversed by road, the A592 road between Ambleside in Rothay Valley and Patterdale in Ullswater Valley.

But we were out of the car, so we grabbed our gear and followed the sound of the water. Just over the dry stone wall we found our next shot down the Pass of the small brook tumbling over rocks and boulders.
