More Tips on Mount Batur from Travelers
- It was a last minute decision to climb Mount Batur in a recent trip to Bali, Indonesia. I got picked up at 1:30am before heading to the meeting point. With a friendly local guide, we started hiking after 3:30am and reached the top after 90 minutes or so. Definitely tiring but definitely worthwhile especially when we got our coffee. From Mount Batur, you can see Mount Abang and Mount Agung (an active volcano).
- Hoped in a van with a group of a about 12 strangers from all over the world on a hiking expedition up the volcano: Mt. Batur. Here’s an image I was able to grab once we reached the top, and watch the beautiful sun come up Follow my adventures: instagram.com/fr33water/
