- The trouble I have with photography is that there is always another shot to get. But it’s also taught me something. I love this photo. I took it about 5 or 10 minutes after I wanted to go in, out of the cold water. I’m glad I stuck it out, otherwise I would have never have seen this image and neither would you. It’s a good illustration of what life is often like. The beauty is often in the breakthrough. In the 5 or 10 minutes, 5 or 10 days, 5 or 10 weeks, after you’ve had enough that you may begin to see the beauty. Keep going, keep sticking it out – you might find something you love.
