Agra is a city on the banks of the Yamuna river in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is 206 kilometres south of the national capital New Delhi. Agra is the fourth-most populous city in Uttar Pradesh and 24th in India.

The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the southern bank of the river Yamuna in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal; it also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself.

- Mehtab Bagh (also as konwn as Moonlight Gardens,) is situated directly opposite of the Taj Mahal on the northern side of the Yamuna River. The garden has the perfect alignment with the Taj; a lot of people say it is the best view point of Taj Mahal at sunset with a smaller crowd.
