About this picture
This is one of the countless small fishing huts that are dotted along the shore of Norway’s fjords. This is the Lofotens - a staggeringly beautiful chain of islands in the arctic circle.
I worked hard to make sure that the snow wasn’t overexposed and blown out.
I also like the fact it isn’t red (though many of the huts are) because it adds to the bleakness of the image.
