I can almost feel summer coming. I also feel blessed living in Austria and being surrounded by these “giants�. I just can’t have enough of this… Especially when I get on higher ground.

Innsbruck
- It could be anything. An old camera, a place, your house, your dog and ultimately your self. Just let go. It took me years to realize it, and had to go through some educating moments and situations to understand it. That’s what I am being reminded every time I take one of these nature landscape photos. Letting go brought me to the mountains. Letting go brought me here.

Innsbruck
- I took the Nordkette cable car to the top of the mountains overlooking Innsbruck. Looking for the perfect angle, I climbed up to an out of the way area above a small café that serves tourists - not really allowed, but, you know, the perfect shot. Low and behold, this little fella wouldn’t move, so I even had time to rest my lens on it’s cap and set the timer…

Innsbruck
- A 2 hour drive was about to reach it’s end, and just as we enter the city I look up to the traffic light and see this. I drive back home, dump the car, grab the camera and my bike, pedal for about 6 minutes and boom. 1 shot 1 kill. I swear. Apparently I was so excited for this and I left my car door “slightly� open.

- I’m trying to shoot differently as of late. I guess trying to be more abstract (and maybe artistic) in my nature shots. I am fascinated by unknown. This will be a new territory I am gonna be exploring slowly. Whether it works or not is quite subjective, because success is subjective and different for all of us.

- Waking up in the morning hast it’s perks. But in the Alps that is pretty subjective. One day the sun is shining through the clouds, next day you wake up to heavy snowfall. And everything’s white again. Or is it? Daily tales of madness from a southerner who still tries to figure out the weather.

- Never thought I ‘d be writing little stories for my photographs, because I always thought they tell their own story. Which is different for everyone that might look at them. As much as I don’t trust water in it’s icey or snowy form, I love this vista. Peaceful, calm and serene. Click.
