Uji
Uji is a city on the southern outskirts of the city of Kyoto, in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. Founded on March 1, 1951, Uji is between the two ancient capitals of Nara and Kyoto. The city sits on the Uji River, which has its source in Lake Biwa.

1 Kinkakujichō
- … well. There`s problem with the beautiful places around the world. Too many tourists. I`m part of the problem, I know. ;) With a bit of luck and a few minutes to queue up, you can take a photo of the beautiful Japanese gardens and buildings. But please imagine, what you can`t see in the picture: hundreds of tourists are just waiting behind me to take exactly the same picture. Most of them doing smartphone selfies of cause ;)

Mount Fuji
- Everytime when I’m going back to Mt. Fuji it feels like it’s the first time visiting. This time was special because my daughter is already 2 years old and she seems to understand more. When someone asks me what to visit around Tokyo, I always recommend Fuji-San. It’s easy to reach and impossible not to love.

Mount fuji
- The Chureito Pagoda (忠霊塔, Chūreitō) is a five storied pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji off in the distance. The pagoda is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built as a peace memorial in 1963 nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine's main buildings.

Mount Fuji
- It was 9:30 in the morning. We were on the way to Mt. Fuji. After 150 miles we glimpsed the volcanic mountain for the 1st time. There was no way I was going to miss the opportunity to capture the first glimpse of this majestic mountain, so I took this photo from the bus.
