The island of Skópelos is located between Skiathos and Alonissos and is part of the Sporades group.
Skópelos is mainly mountainous and has tall, thick pine trees, mixed with olive trees.
With its stone-paved alleys and whitewashed houses, Skopelos will seduce photographers with its mixture of different architectural styles and winding alleys. In the narrow streets leading up to the town, the smell of incense mingles with that of jasmine. The centre of activities is spread out along the quay. On the coastal road to Chora, at the top of the rock, you will find the small 17th century church of Panagia toy Pyrgou, which offers a magnificent view.
