The village of Oia is located at the northernmost tip of the island of Santorini.
Built into the side of the cliff, this white village can be visited like an open-air museum. The village stretches for almost two kilometres along the caldera, and is about 100 metres above the sea.
Oia is crossed by a central alley at the same level as the road, which allows you to visit without having to go down. This is where you will get the best views of the caldera. If you don't have any constraints (no luggage, pushchairs etc), you can take the hundreds of stairs that wind through the houses.
