The capital of Brittany is a large, dynamic and lively city. Indeed, Rennes is an active city, with a remarkable architectural heritage, as it bears witness to several eras of the city, from the medieval period to the more modern periods. It is very pleasant to walk around the city centre of Rennes, in the pedestrian and shopping streets, with all the emblematic monuments of the city: the Parliament of Brittany, the Opera, Saint-Pierre cathedral, the town hall... You can also go to the Musée des Beaux-Arts, a cultural stopover not to be missed (there are works by Georges de la Tour, Rubens or Picasso). Finally, if you have time, you can go and see the surroundings of Rennes: beautiful countryside, villages, castles, natural sites. Rennes is a little-known city and yet deserves to be better known.
