The city of Reims is located in the Marne department of the Champagne-Ardenne region in France. The city is home to a large number of listed historical monuments, and has been awarded the Ville d'Art et d'Histoire label. There are obviously places not to be missed that are listed as Unesco World Heritage Sites, such as Notre-Dame Cathedral and its remarkable Chagall stained glass windows, the Palais du Tau, the museum of the cathedral's work, the Basilica of Saint-Remi, which houses the holy ampulla and the tomb of Saint Remi, and the Saint-Remi Abbey Museum, dedicated to the bishop who baptised Clovis. A visit to Reims is a chance to discover an important part of French history as well as the vineyards of Champagne.
