This firm is notably the father of the Willis Tower in Chicago and the World Trade Center in New York. The Burj Khalifa's design is supposed to be inspired by the lines of the desert lily, which can be found in the Gulf region. This flower will certainly be one of the most admired, or at least the most visible, as it can be seen from a radius of 95 km! This glass and steel obelisk culminates in a huge spire pointing to the sky.
