- Haleakala National Park: At an elevation of about 3,000 meters, I recommend going to the park for sunset, if it's not too early in the morning to see the sunrise. Watching the sunset above the clouds is a truly amazing and magical experience. It can be a bit chilly, so don't forget to bring clothes. cost per car: $30.
- Hana Road: Known as the jewel of Maui and Hawaii, this is one of Maui's top tourist attractions. This road is home to lush rainforests, spectacular ocean views, countless waterfalls, and natural pools. The drive is a bit strenuous as it takes about 5 hours each way, but depending on where you stop, the round trip can take 10-12 hours. The road is narrow and winding, sometimes single lane, with about 600 bends and many bridges.
