⛰️ Hill spots 🏖️ Shore spotsA fantastic bay dotted with islands, forests, Mediterranean coastlines and magnificent panoramas. A photographer's paradise. To take full advantage of the extraordinary views from Loch Torridon, we recommend taking the small road off the A896 shortly after Shieldaig, towards Applecross (via the coast). The steep gradient at the start takes you to the high ground above Loch Torridon: the views are simply fabulous all the way to Kenmore. A little further on the landscape changes completely, the road crosses endless peat fields. After Fearnmore, we have a magnificent view of the Inner Hebrides: Rona, Raasay and of course Skye. There are some great walking trails starting from Torridon or its immediate vicinity, such as the Beinn Eighe crossing (difficult) or the one linking Redpoint via the Lower Diabaig coast. It's a place that will make you fall even more in love with Scotland. The Westerbus 705 takes you from Torridon to Gairloch in 1 hour.
