Learn More about Tibidabo

The Tibidabo is, at 515 or 516 metres, the highest peak in the Collserola mountain range, which dominates Barcelona. Tibidabo is popular in the city's tourist route with its natural areas for recreational purposes.

Several monuments have been built here, including a popular amusement park, mainly at weekends. There is also a Catholic church and a telecommunications tower.
The church is called Sagrat Cor and was designed by Enric Sagnier. A statue of the Sacred Heart has been installed above its highest tower, dominating the building. The church can be visited and you can see some very colourful mosaic paintings. The highest tower allows a 360° panorama. This place of worship can be seen from some parts of Barcelona. There are also green areas, popular with weekend walkers.

The amusement park on this mountain is the oldest in the city. Some of the rides date from the beginning of the 20th century (although they have been renovated). The rides range from children's carousels to roller coasters. They are spread over six levels, depending on their position on the mountain.
