Cádiz is a city and port in southwestern Spain. It is the capital of the Province of Cádiz, one of eight which make up the autonomous community of Andalusia.
Cádiz Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church in Cádiz, southern Spain, and the seat of the Diocese of Cadiz y Ceuta. It was built between 1722 and 1838. The cathedral was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1931. The Plaza de la Catedral houses both the Cathedral and the Baroque Santiago church, built in 1635.

Founded 3000 years ago by the Phoenicians, making Cadiz one of the oldest city in Europe. This peninsula has preserved a rich historical heritage as a result of its trade. The entrance of the city is very impressive thanks to the Constitution’s bridge, which is one of the highest cross-sea bridges in the world. The city is much more accessible for pedestrians, you can park your car in one of the many underground parking lots available. A place not to be missed in Cadiz is the Plaza de San Juan de Dios, built in the sixteenth century, it has long been the heart of the city because it was a place of trade. In this area, you can see two buildings: the town hall and the church of San Juan De Dios. The city is full of cathedrals, churches and even castles, a big part of the city's history, you will see them at every corner. The Roman Theater is the oldest of all Spain, the visit is free, so do not hesitate. But if you don't feel like cultural visits, you can go to the Genoves Park located along the ocean. This park is full of different botanical species from all over the world. You can admire the fountain of a child under an umbrella, a waterfall, a lake and a cave, enough to make you travel.
