Cabo da Roca, Facing the Atlantic ocean

Cabo da Roca has located about 40 km from Lisbon, and if it is so well known, it is due to its position: it is indeed the most western point of Europe!

You can take advantage of a trip to Sintra or your visit to Cascais to discover this natural site where the wind blows strongly.

It is normal because you will be on the edge of a 150 meters high cliff that overhangs the ocean.
The landscape that offers itself to you here will delight any nature lover, with on one side the stretch of water that seems infinite, and on the other the mountains of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park.

It is worth noting that in the 17th century, a fort stood here and served as an observation and surveillance point to control ships.

Given the visibility that this point of view offers, it is easy to understand why!

The area of Cabo da Roca lends itself perfectly to a walk, which will allow you to breathe fresh air and take some great shots of Portuguese nature.
