Discover Kuala Lumpur City Centre, in the west of Malaysia. Covering an area of 243 square kilometres, the city is the cultural, industrial and financial heart of the country. Its metropolitan area, called Greater Kuala Lumpur, is the most populous city in the country and owes its growth to the tin trade in the 19th century.
The city is crossed by two main rivers: the Kelang and the Gombak.

You can start your stay with a visit to the Hindu sanctuary of the Batu Caves, a group of caves, some of which are temples, dedicated to Murugan, the god of the divine army. The temple is the largest Hindu shrine with counting India. The caves are accessible after climbing a number of steps. During your visit, you may see some animals such as monkeys and chickens.

A little further on, don't miss the Thean Hou temple. This temple, dedicated to the Goddess of Paradise, was completed in 1987.
The architecture of the temple is very charming and colourful. The location of the temple is extremely peaceful. During the Chinese New Year, the temple is very lively with handicrafts, lion dance and singing.

You should also pass by Masjid Negara, the national mosque. Built in 1965, it is one of the largest mosques in Southeast Asia.

How to visit Kuala Lumpur without visiting the famous Petronas twin towers? These are true icons of the city's architecture. Their name comes from the Malaysian oil company. The Petronas Towers contain a large number of offices, but also shops, a cinema and various entertainment venues. Take the high-speed lift and immerse yourself in the world's tallest twin towers, which are 450m high.

After a day of sightseeing, enjoy a stroll through Jalan Bukit Bintang, a lively shopping district. Here you can sample some delicious local specialities.

From Kuala Lumpur, you can also take a boat trip to other places such as Kuala Selangor, Kampung Kuantan, where in the evening you can enjoy the magical glittering landscape with the glowing fireflies.
