Travel Tips for visiting Maasai Mara National Reserve

The Masai Mara National Reserve is a national reserve in southwest Kenya. It is a natural extension of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. It is a large area of savannah, slightly hilly, in which many species cross.
Masai Mara is Kenya's best-known and most visited place and the land is still inhabited by the Maasai who graze their herds.
The area surrounding the reserve is dotted with villages where you may be able to meet the Masai. Masai Mara name comes from two elements: the Maasai tribes and the Mara River which runs through it.
It's a great place to see the migration of wildebeest, zebra, Thomson's gazelle and other animals twice a year, especially as they cross the Mara River. You can also try to photograph the Big Five : African lion, African leopard, African elephant, black rhino and African buffalo.

For safari lovers, for those who want to enjoy the magic of the great migration. The Masai Mara is the place to visit.
