Unlike the other rocky beaches in the area, Paraggi is a sandy beach. With its clear blue water and characteristic Mediterranean vegetation, the bay of Paraggi offers a pleasant swim. It is also called the « Blue Flag », in reference to the color of its water. You will be in the heart of nature as the beach is bordered by two hills and open to the sea, making it the greenest beach in the region. There are private beaches in the surrounding area but Paraggi beach is free and open to the public. Above the beach is the Portofino Natural Park where you can walk along 80km of paths and contemplate the nature of the area.
