But today we're going to show you that it's really worth it, by telling you what are the best things to see and do in Milan. 1. The Duomo, the symbol of Milan If you think the Duomo is a real treat, climbing up to the roof will leave you open-mouthed. The ticket to enter the Duomo costs €3 and the combined ticket that includes access to the underground and the terraces costs €15, but you have to walk! (If you want to book online you can do it). Entry is included if you have the Milan Pass. 2. Piazza del Duomo Once there, take the opportunity to stroll around the Piazza del Duomo, which is always lively and where you can take some great photos. Did you know that the Statue of Liberty in New York was inspired by the statue of the New Law, which is on the façade of the Duomo? Its author (Camillo Pacetti) sculpted it in 1810, a few years before Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi designed his masterpiece. 3. Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery A short distance from here you will come across another of Milan's great protagonists: the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
