Melawi Regency is a regency of West Kalimantan province of Indonesia. It was created in 2003 from part of Sintang Regency. It covers an area of 10,640.8 km², and had a population of 178,645 at the 2010 Census; the latest official estimate is 184,759.
Nanga Pinoh is the principal town and administrative centre of Melawi Regency, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. The population of Nanga Pinoh was 39,604 in the 2010 Census. The town is positioned at the junction of the Melawi River and the Pinoh River.
