🏰 Temple 🏘️ Town ⛰️ Mountain range 🌆 Skyline 🌲 Forest 🏞️ ReservoirBangalore is the fourth largest city in India and the capital of the state of Karnataka. Located in the south-central part of the country, Bangalore has the reputation of being the cradle of India's future. Indeed, in recent decades the success of high-tech companies has enabled the development of the IT sector in India, with the arrival of significant European capital. It is precisely because of its innate IT-technology mindset that the city has been dubbed India's Silicon Valley and is projected towards a future based on consumption and business. Bangalore's distinctive charm resides in the fusion of technological globalisation and the living traditions of Indian culture. Now only a few magnificent palaces and temples, especially the Sri Shiva temple, bear witness to the great historical and cultural value of the past. The main historical remains are located in the southern part of the city market, in stark contrast to the modern (also architectural) character of the rest of the city. Bangalore: what to do? It is no surprise that Bangalore is called the Garden City: Cubbon Park, situated in the city centre, is the ideal place to get out of the sun. There are plenty of flowering shrubs, playgrounds and relaxation areas. Many tourist facilities surround the park, including the aquarium, the Venkatappa art gallery and the Visveswaraya industrial and technological museum. The Labagh Botanical Gardens have an abundance of red roses. It was built in the 18th century by Sultan Tipu and the plants here are all from that period. It also has the largest collection of rare tropical plants in India. However, Bangalore, partly due to its globalisation, is called the 'Indian Pub City', due to the large supply and constant proliferation of cafes, clubs and pubs. Bangalore has many amusement parks: Bal Bhavan is the most popular, while Neeladri Park is both an amusement park and a water park. A few kilometres from the city, the Bannergatta National Park offers the opportunity to see many wild animals in their natural habitat, such as buffalo, elephants, lions, panthers, crocodiles and snakes. Bangalore has a large number of renowned waterfalls in the region. The closest is Chunchi Falls with its breathtakingly powerful waterfalls immersed in lush vegetation: the perfect place to relax, swim and have a nice picnic.
