Pyrénées-Atlantiques is a department in the southwest corner of France and of the region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It takes its name from the Pyrenees mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. It covers the French Basque Country and the Béarn.
The village of Lescun is a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in south-western France. It is at an elevation of approximately 900 metres in a grand cirque. Lescun is situated on the GR 10 long-distance footpath traversing the Pyrenees.
