When is the best time to visit Tortuguero National Park?

It is interesting to visit either very early in the morning to avoid the other tourist boats and see the maximum of species.

Or in the late afternoon when it is not so hot and the animals start to show themselves.

Linked to the national park, Tortuguero beach has very high waves and is not suitable for swimming.
