Pinery Provincial Park is a provincial park located on Lake Huron near Grand Bend, Ontario. It occupies an area of 25.32 square kilometres. It is a natural environment-class Provincial Park created to help preserve oak savannah and the beach dune ecology. It has 1,275 sites of which 404 have electrical hookups. These include the yurt camping area and the group camping sites. The initial package of land for the park was purchased from the Canada Company in 1957.

The extremely rare and fragile oak savanna and coastal dune ecosystem has extraordinary biodiversity, with over 800 species of vascular plants and 300 species of birds. It has been selected as one of the 10 best sunsets in the world by National Geographic magazine. With 21 square kilometers of rare forests and rolling sand dunes, it offers great outdoor recreation year-round: 10 walking trails, 14 kilometers of biking trails, and 38 kilometers of groomed ski trails. You can rent canoes, paddle boats, and kayaks to explore the Old Ausable Channel, one of the most important wetlands in the province. The Pinery is one of the premier cross-country ski areas in southwestern Ontario. The 38 km long trail forms a loop and offers a variety of challenges for both beginners and advanced skiers. The Pinery's rare habitat provides shelter and space for 319 species of birds, 124 of which nest in the park. Visitors can watch the spectacular migration of thousands of tundra swans in March and the passing of warblers in May and June. In the spring, watch red-breasted nuthatches from the beach, and in the summer, hike the trails to look for brilliant scarlet tanagers, Baltimore orioles and cerulean warblers. In winter, red-tailed hawks and titmice are often seen at the visitor center feeders.
