Known as the "Jewel of Lake Ontario" for its special lakeside location between Toronto and Kingston and its remarkable waterfront. Cobourg is rich in heritage and history, this thriving and attractive town has many architectural gems dating back from the 19th century. You'll also find a spectacular sandy beach with a scenic boardwalk and shaded park, campgrounds, nature trails. Lake Ontario makes the city very famous, indeed, the landscapes that surround it, the light and the colors are really magnificent. The sunsets are simply magical! There are lots of lovely little islands to explore in the area, and you can see an extraordinary variety of bird species, which match the beauty of the landscape.
