About: Masjid Putra

The Masjid Putra, or the Putra Mosque, is the main mosque of Putrajaya, Malaysia. The Putra Mosque is also one of the few pink mosques in the world! Construction started in 1997 and was finished just two years later – seemingly jutting from the man-made Putrajaya Lake like a giant pink sandcastle. It is located next to the Perdana Putra, which is the official office of the Malaysian Prime Minister.
